Widely regarded as the jewel in the crown of the Gulf of Riga, with its moderate climate, its sea air and white-sand beaches, Jurmala is many people’s idea of the dream destination. The Sea Breeze resort is a complex of luxury guestrooms with access to peaceful and verdant surroundings, located on the shores of the Baltic Sea.

The pool area, located on the top floor of the complex, has two pool enclosures installed on the roof. Guests can enjoy the indoor pool all year round without having to worry about the vagaries of the weather, and even take a dip in the outdoor pool.

A TOP-OF-THE-RANGE SERVICE

The owner decided to upgrade the hotel’s offer so guests can enjoy the pool all year round and in all weather conditions. Mission accomplished: with its telescopic system, the Vénus enclosure opens and closes in a matter of minutes and allows guests to enjoy all the benefits of an indoor or an outdoor pool.

A COMPLETELY BESPOKE POOL ENCLOSURE

The primary aim of our design office is to adapt the enclosure so that it does not look out of place. Every professional enclosure is uniquely designed. The roof of the hotel has not one, but two enclosures which join together and work in perfect harmony for the benefit of the pool area.

A PROJECT OF SUBSTANTIAL DIMENSIONS

These two remarkable pool enclosures were manufactured at our factory before being shipped halfway across Europe to Latvia and fitted onto the roof of the Sea Breeze hotel. The larger (23 m long x 11 m wide) and the smaller structure were both fitted by our expert installation team. Hotel professionals entrust Abridéal with their project because they know we can provide an expert solution that meets all the requirements of their large-scale projects.

PROVEN EXPERTISE IN THE USE OF TEMPERED SAFETY GLASS

Since more than 35 years, Vénus has used tempered safety glass to manufacture its pool enclosures. This roof-based pool enclosure is made entirely of tempered safety glass which is a material approved by building standards and widely used in public access buildings (CE marked and compliant with NF P920-309). Very few companies are able to offer this roof-based glass solution. That is despite the numerous advantages of the material, including its total transparency and durability.
