The Kyriad Prestige Lyon Est hotel is a 4-star establishment close to Lyon city centre. The hotel’s numerous services include a pool on which the owners have installed an enclosure. Mission accomplished: Vénus’s expert teams have installed a pool enclosure on the roof.

Operated by a remote-controlled electric motor, the enclosure can be retracted to form an outdoor pool in summer.

Very few hotels are able to offer their guests an indoor AND an outdoor pool. As the hotel has installed a telescopic pool enclosure, it is now able to offer such a service. This unique service puts a smile on guests’ faces all year round, whether they are enjoying a pleasant dip in summer or winter.

A TECHNICAL FEAT

This project is a real technological feat as the installation of the enclosure combines several characteristics:

  • The pool enclosure is fitted onto the roof of a building and between two walls at either end of the enclosure.
  • The structure is completely motor driven.
  • The dimensions of the pool enclosure are truly remarkable: 18.70m x 14m
